British carrier Firsft Choice Airways inaugurated service from Manchester, England to Barbados on Thursday, November 3rd, 2005.

This service will operate fortnightly year round. First Choice will be using Boeing 767, 258-passenger capacity aircrafts for this service.

The charter ailine is offering onboard massage services by trained therapists, in association with Dermalogica, a skin care company. For a modest fee passengers can get back and scalp massages, pressure point massaging, facial mapping and skin refreshers.

First Choice's Area Manger, Martin Milner noting that the offer of inflight therapists was only one of the defining features of his airline's service, said: "It is a fun flight; we also have the biggest seat-pitch in the industry..........33 inches in economy and 36 inches in premium. We also have 11-inch TV's and can do quizzes, karaoke and other fun things onboard."

This service creates additional access to Barbados for persons from the north of England.
